Plain-language note. This policy uses legal terms where precision matters. If anything is unclear, email us—we will explain our practices without asking you to navigate jargon alone.

1. Data controller, scope, and contact

The data controller responsible for personal data relating to the Site is Reliablewhsafe, located at 906 Main St, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. You may contact us about privacy at touch@reliablewhsafe.world or by phone at +1 403-252-8181.

This policy applies to information processed through the Site, email correspondence initiated through published addresses, and related operational records. It does not govern third-party websites that we link to; those services have their own policies.

Controller identity

Reliablewhsafe operates the public website and associated communication channels described here.

Geographic focus

We are based in Canada and welcome visitors globally. Additional disclosures appear where regional laws require them.

Response times

We aim to answer privacy requests within statutory windows (for example, one month under GDPR for many requests).

2. Summary highlights

We collect limited personal data needed to operate the Site, respond to messages, and—only with consent—support analytics and marketing. We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as law requires. You may exercise access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and consent withdrawal where applicable.

3. Categories of personal data

Depending on your interactions, we may process:

  • Identity and contact data: name, email address, and similar identifiers you provide.
  • Communication content: message body and technical metadata generated when you contact us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referrer URLs, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, interaction patterns, and aggregated performance metrics when analytics cookies are enabled.
  • Consent records: cookie choices and timestamps stored locally and/or server-side as needed to demonstrate compliance.

4. How we collect data and role of cookies

We collect information directly from you (for example, through forms), automatically through server logs and similar technologies, and—when you opt in—via analytics or marketing tools described in our Cookie Policy. Strictly necessary cookies may load without consent where required for core functionality; other categories depend on your choices.

Our Cookie Policy lists representative technologies and retention parameters. You can revisit preferences through the cookie banner when available.

5. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)

Purpose Typical data Legal basis
Answering inquiries Contact details, message content Steps prior to contract; legitimate interests in communication management
Site security & operations Logs, device signals Legitimate interests; legal obligations where applicable
Analytics Pseudonymous identifiers, usage metrics Consent
Marketing measurement Campaign identifiers Consent or soft opt-in where permitted
Compliance & legal defense Relevant records Legal obligation; legitimate interests

6. Recipients and processors

We share personal data with service providers that host infrastructure, deliver email, or supply analytics and marketing tools you approve. Processors act on documented instructions and implement appropriate security. We may disclose information to regulators, law enforcement, or private parties when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

7. International transfers

Where personal data originating in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland is transferred internationally, we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law, supplemented by technical and organizational measures.

8. Retention periods

Contact messages

Generally up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed to resolve disputes or meet legal duties.

Security logs

Typically up to 90 days unless extended for incident investigation.

Marketing records

Until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, then deleted or anonymized within approximately 30 days absent legal holds.

Consent artifacts

Up to 12 months from consent or last update, extendable where proof of compliance is needed.

9. Security measures

We apply HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege administration, patching practices, and incident response procedures appropriate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure; we work to reduce risk through proportionate safeguards and periodic review.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, email us with sufficient detail for verification. We may need to confirm identity before processing sensitive requests.

11. Automated decision-making

We do not perform automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

12. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16. If we learn we collected such data inadvertently, we will delete it promptly after notification.

13. Canada (PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws)

For individuals in Canada, we handle personal information in line with the federal PIPEDA where it applies, and with substantially similar provincial laws in provinces where they have been deemed equivalent. You may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccuracies where appropriate, and withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual restrictions. You may raise concerns with us first; if unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy commissioner, depending on which law applies.

14. Online advertising and conversion measurement

If you enable marketing or analytics technologies (including through our cookie banner), vendors such as Google may process limited data to measure ad performance, attribute visits, or build aggregate audience insights. We configure tags to respect consent where technically required. We do not use advertising to promote prescription drugs, unapproved treatments, or misleading health claims. For details on cookies, see our Cookie Policy; for vendor-specific controls, refer to your Google Ads and Google account settings and similar tools from other providers you use.

15. Other regional notices

Depending on your location outside Canada, additional rights or disclosures may apply (for example, in the European Economic Area under GDPR). Contact us with your jurisdiction so we can respond appropriately. Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable consumer protections.

16. Changes and how to reach us

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational or legal changes. The “Effective” date at the top will change, and material updates may be highlighted on the Site. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
